About
Eucerin, a leading skincare brand with a rich history of German dermatological expertise, aimed to enhance its presence in the Vietnamese market through a targeted social media campaign. The brand, known globally for its scientific approach and over a century of trust, wanted to reinforce its image as a reliable and effective skincare solution while connecting with the local Vietnamese audience.
The Challenge
Ensuring that the content resonated locally while consistently promoting Eucerin's core values of reliability and visible results.
The Solution
In Vietnam, foreign brands, especially those from Germany, are highly trusted. We leveraged this perception by emphasizing its German heritage and the proven effectiveness of its products. The social media strategy focused on three key content pillars:
Product-Centric Content: Highlighting Eucerin’s products with a focus on their dermatological backing, ingredients, and included information how and when to use the products in everyday situations.
Engagement Through Minigames: Interactive minigames were introduced to increase customer engagement while subtly educating the audience about the benefits of Eucerin’s products.
Seasonal Content: Content was tailored to local events, holidays, and seasons, keeping the brand relevant and engaging throughout the year.
For visuals, we followed Eucerin’s global brand guidelines but made adjustments to fit the Vietnamese context. This included using imagery and messaging that resonated with local aesthetics and culture, ensuring the content was both globally consistent and locally appealing.
The Results
Over the course of the year in charge of Eucerin’s social media, we achieved:
A 25% increase in brand awareness across social media platforms.
30% higher engagement rates due to the introduction of interactive and relevant content.
A 15% boost in sales driven by strategically designed product-centric content.
Over 40,000 new followers gained within the year.
