As I was getting ready to leave Seattle for the Bay Area, I wanted to give my friends something special to remember me by. That’s when I came up with the idea of creating personalized illustrated cards using Midjourney, an AI tool I’d recently started using in my projects. This was the perfect way to combine my love for paper crafting with my interest in technology. Each card had an illustration that captured a memory or a trait that reminded me of that friend, along with a Spotify scannable song tied to our shared moments. After generating the designs, I used my Wacom tablet to add final details, making each card unique. My friends really appreciated the thoughtful, creative gifts and they loved how the cards captured our time together.
